Valley Leadership is connecting leaders

with non-profits and community benefit agencies.

I would encourage nonprofits to become involved in LeaderLink to obtain possible board member prospects. This system matches the applicant’s preferred sectors of involvement in and electronically lets the nonprofit know there may be a match. We reached out to several over the year and one went through our nomination process and joined our board in August 2016. I highly recommend nonprofits take the time to view the applications received and move forward on those that may be a good fit for the organization.

As a new nonprofit in our community, with a small staff, using LeaderLink has been an amazing opportunity to get our mission and needs out to a larger population of leaders. In searching for board leadership you want a diverse mix of backgrounds and skills and LeaderLink allows for the nonprofit to specifically identify what they are looking for in candidates. It is so user friendly and I love that it allows you to directly reach out to your potential match and connect quickly!

Executive Director, Phoenix Community ToolBank

Valley Leadership’s LeaderLink platform was simple and easy to use. I filled out my profile, included my skillset and areas of interest in the community and within minutes I had a list of local organizations that matched my community interests and that were seeking board members with needs my skills matched! Two months later, a couple emails and in person meetings and I’m happy to say I will be attending my first meeting this month as a board member! Thanks VL for this amazing tool!
